MANILA – The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) is now accepting applications for the GBF STEM College Scholarship, formerly known as the GBF-Gokongwei Group STEM Scholarship for Excellence, for Academic Year 2026-2027.
The scholarship supports outstanding college students pursuing priority STEM courses who demonstrate good academic standing, leadership potential, community involvement, and financial need.
Qualified scholars will receive a fixed annual financial grant ranging from PHP80,000 to PHP120,000, depending on the university, sent directly to the scholar’s bank account.
Scholars will also have access to leadership development and upskilling programs, internship opportunities within the Gokongwei Group, and employment opportunities upon graduation, subject to company vacancy and passing of pre-employment requirements.

Priority courses include BS in Accountancy, BS in Chemical Engineering, BS in Civil Engineering, BS in Computer Science, BS in Data Science, BS in Electrical Engineering, BS in Information Technology, BS in Mechanical Engineering, BS in Pharmacy, BS in Radiologic Technology, BS in Animal Science, BS in Avionics Technology, BS in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, BS in Chemistry, BS in Industrial Engineering, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a GBF priority STEM course, have a general weighted average of 85 percent or 2.0 or its equivalent, be of good moral standing with active participation in extracurricular activities, and demonstrate financial need.
Required documents for incoming college students include a certified true copy of Grade 12 report card or Form 137 and a notice of admission or proof of university application for AY 2026-2027. Continuing college students must submit certified true copies of grades from the past two consecutive semesters. All applicants must also submit proof of annual household income.
