DAVAO CITY – The Davao City Water District (DCWD) is now accepting applications for its College Scholarship Program for School Year 2026-2027, offering a total of six slots for qualified students.
The program opens five slots for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and one slot for a non-IP applicant, with the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) as the eligible school, covering its Mintal and Obrero campuses only.

Applications are being accepted from January 28 to May 29, 2026 at the DCWD Community Relations Division Office on the 6th floor of the DCWD Matina Office.
Applicants must first meet the qualifying requirements of USEP and secure a Notice of Admission to the Program (NOAP) before proceeding to the DCWD office to fill out the scholarship application form.
For the IP scholarship, eligible applicants must be SHS graduates or current college students with an average grade of at least 80 percent, and must be a member of an Indigenous Cultural Community or a Muslim residing in the watershed areas of Toril, Tugbok, Baguio, Calinan, or Marilog districts.
Required documents for IP applicants include the NOAP from USEP, SHS report card or report of grades from the previous semester, tribal certification, barangay clearance and endorsement, Certificate of Confirmation from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples or National Commission on Muslim Filipinos, certified true copy of annual household Income Tax Return not exceeding PHP120,000 or a BIR certification with a notarized Affidavit of Low/No Income, a PSA copy of birth certificate, and one recent 2×2 photo preferably in IP attire.
For the non-IP slot, applicants must be SHS graduates of the recently preceding school year, with an average grade of at least 80 percent, must belong to the top 20 percent of their graduating class, and must be a resident of Davao City.
Both scholarships cover transportation, meals, boarding house, and uniform or textbook allowances, as well as incentives for Dean’s Listers, thesis allowance during the graduating year, and a cash incentive upon graduation.
