The event was organized in partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines, which facilitated direct crediting of the grants to each student’s LandBank card.
A total of 2,646 beneficiaries with senior high school and college levels, from both public and private institutions – attended the assembly. The provincial government’s scholarship program has become one of the more accessible education assistance initiatives in Central Luzon, reaching thousands of Bulacan students each cycle.

All grants were deposited directly to the students’ LandBank cards, a cashless approach that reduces delays and ensures secure, traceable disbursement. The use of LandBank cards also sets the stage for this year’s financial literacy component – encouraging students to actively manage the accounts linked to their grants.
Beyond the grant: what else happened at the assembly
Financial literacy talk – LandBank
LandBank representatives encouraged students to save responsibly, build emergency funds, and make use of the Perang Inimpok Savings Option account a savings program designed for young depositors.
Mental health and stress management – Provincial Health Office
Kaila Joie Rodaje of the Health Promotion Unit, Provincial Health Office-Public Health, led discussions to help students recognize and manage the pressures of academic life.
Gender sensitivity – PSWDO
Gladylyn Burgos of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office conducted a session on gender sensitivity, part of the provincial government’s broader welfare agenda for young Bulakenyos.
Let us study harder, and our wish is for all of you to finish your studies.
says Gov. Daniel Fernando, addressing scholars at the assembly
Governor Daniel Fernando and Vice Governor Alexis Castro both addressed the scholars during the event, urging them to take their education seriously and see the scholarship as an investment in their future. The governor’s message reflected a consistent theme of the provincial program: financial assistance paired with encouragement and accountability.
The assembly format combining grant distribution with wellness and financial education signals a broader shift in how the Bulacan provincial government approaches student welfare, treating scholars not just as grant recipients but as future community leaders in need of holistic support.
