The Vicsal Foundation, Inc. (VFI) is now accepting applications for the Vicsal Foundation College Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2026-2027.
This scholarship program aims to support underprivileged but academically deserving public senior high school graduates who wish to pursue college education in Cebu.
Through the program, selected scholars will receive full financial assistance including tuition and allowances.
Vicsal Foundation Scholarship Program
The Vicsal Foundation Scholarship is offered by Vicsal Foundation, Inc., the charitable arm of the company behind Metro Gaisano.
The program supports qualified students who plan to enroll in the following partner universities:
- University of San Carlos (USC)
- University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR)
- Cebu Institute of Technology – University (CIT-U)
The scholarship aims to help students continue their education and achieve their academic goals.
Scholarship Benefits
Qualified scholars will receive the following benefits:
- Full Tuition and School Fees (100% coverage)
- Monthly Allowance – ₱3,000
- Book Allowance – ₱3,000 per semester
- Graduation Fee Support – up to ₱2,000 reimbursement
These benefits allow students to focus on their studies while reducing financial burden.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a graduate or graduating student of a public senior high school
- Must have a General Average of at least 88%
- Must have no grade lower than 80% in any subject
- Annual gross income of parents must not exceed ₱300,000
- For single-earner families, income must not exceed ₱150,000
- Must have good moral character and leadership potential
- Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship
Documentary Requirements
Applicants must prepare the following documents and place them in one long white folder:
- Accomplished Vicsal Scholarship Application Form
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Senior High School Report Card (Grade 12 – 1st Semester)
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Parents’ Latest BIR Income Tax Return or Tax Exemption Certificate
- Barangay Clearance
- One (1) recent 2×2 colored photo

Secure a copy of the official Vicsal Foundation Scholarship Application Form.
Prepare the Requirements
Gather all required documents and place them in a long white folder.
Submit the Application
Submit your completed application to any of the following locations:
- Vicsal Foundation Office (Mandaue City)
- Metro Gaisano Customer Service Centers
- Scholarship offices of partner schools (USC, USJR, CIT-U)
Application Period
The Vicsal Foundation Scholarship 2026-2027 is open for applications from:
February 24, 2026 to March 24, 2026
Applicants are advised to submit their requirements before the deadline because late or incomplete applications will not be processed.
