The Caloocan City government will start providing a free shuttle service for City Hall employees beginning March 16 as part of its efforts to conserve fuel and energy.
The shuttle service will operate from Monday to Friday and aims to help employees reduce transportation expenses while supporting the city’s energy conservation initiatives.
Shuttle Routes and Schedule
According to the city government, the shuttle will transport employees to Caloocan City Hall-South from several pick-up points across the city.
The shuttle schedule is as follows:
- 6:45 a.m. – Caloocan North City Hall
- 7:00 a.m. – Caloocan Sports Complex
- 7:30 a.m. – Mindanao Avenue
- 7:45 a.m. – Bonifacio Monument Circle (in front of BPI)
For the return trip, the shuttle will depart Caloocan City Hall-South at 5:30 p.m. going back to Caloocan City Hall-North.

Part of Energy Conservation Efforts
The free shuttle service is part of the local government’s participation in national efforts to reduce fuel consumption and promote energy efficiency, especially amid rising fuel prices.
By providing a shared transportation option for employees, the city hopes to lower fuel usage and help reduce transportation costs for government workers.
University of Caloocan City Adjusts Class Schedule
Meanwhile, the University of Caloocan City (UCC) announced that face-to-face classes will be temporarily suspended starting March 14.
To help conserve fuel and electricity, the university will implement online classes every Friday and Saturday across all campuses.
The adjustment is part of the institution’s support for the city’s energy-saving measures.
