The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has updated its list of priority courses for the CHED Scholarship program for the 2024-2025 school year through a new memorandum. To qualify for this scholarship, students need to enroll in one of these priority courses.
What Are CHED Priority Courses?
CHED Priority Courses are programs that CHED has recognized as eligible for its scholarship programs. Students attending public or private universities, colleges, and higher education institutions can apply for the CHED Scholarship if they enroll in these priority courses.
These courses are divided into two types:
- National Priority Programs: Courses that are available throughout the country, no matter the region.
- Regional Priority Courses: Courses that are recognized in specific regions.

Students who enroll in the priority courses and meet the requirements can apply for the CHED Merit Scholarship 2024. This scholarship offers:

- Tuition and other school fees (TOSF) up to ₱40,000
- Stipend up to ₱70,000
- Book/Connectivity allowance up to ₱10,000
